When We Ring
Holy Trinity, Rayleigh has a practice night every Tuesday from 7.30pm until 9.00pm. New learners need to arrive at 7pm and are encouraged to stay for part or all of the main practice.
We also ring on Sunday mornings from 10am for around half a hour.
Sunday evenings we also ring for the evening service, although this is normally a closed ring as we normally ring a set piece called a quarter peal. If you would like to ring a quarter peal at Rayleigh, we can often incorporate visitors into our regular Sunday evening band, so please get in touch.
We also ring for weddings, special occasions, funerals (of bell ringers, church officials or long-standing members of the congregation) and on request by the church for special services or events.
We also welcome visitors to our practice evenings and also visiting bands.
